As much as macs are widely used by musicians and graphic designers, it seems that when it comes to gaming, macs don't get that much lovin'.

Well, Blizzard feels your pain mac owners. Along with their initial earth shattering announcement of Starcraft 2 being in production, they also announced they are working on a simultaneous release of a PC and Mac version.

President and co-founder of Blizzard Entertainment Mike Morhaime said,

"We recognize that expectations are high following the long-running popularity of the original game, but we plan to meet those expectations and deliver an engaging, action-packed, competitive experience that StarCraft players and strategy gamers worldwide will enjoy."

So there you go mac owners. It seems you'll be able to battle the Zerg right alongside PC owners when Starcraft 2 is released.
